You still have a chance to bid on the art created during Deer Lake Gallery’s Park’s Edge Paint Off battle on Saturday night.
An online auction of the eight works created during the live painting competition has been extended until Thursday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.
Proceeds of the auction are split between the participating artists and the Burnaby Arts Council.
The auction features pieces by artists Alyx Essers, Jace Junggyu Kim, Jeremy Henrickson, JP Vega, Kathryn Wadel, Lyle Johnson, Peter Martin and Yukiko Adachi.
Kim was the winner of the competition, chosen by popular vote.
The gallery points out that the auction is an excellent chance for people to buy original works of art that they otherwise might not be able to afford.
