A "chronic" break and enter suspect has been arrested after a string of burglaries across Coquitlam, New Westminster and Pitt Meadows.

The Feb. 13 arrest of Tyson Taylor Helgason, 25, was the result of a joint investigation involving Coquitlam RCMP’s Prolific Target Team and Ridge Meadows RCMP’s Street Enforcement Team.

The New Westminster man faces four charges, including break and enter, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and mischief of $5,000 and under.

"The teamwork and knowledge sharing of these detachments helped identify and arrest a prolific offender who was problematic to multiple communities,” said RCMP Sgt. Grimmer of the Ridge Meadows RCMP in a press release.
