The city of Coquitlam is asking residents for help in deciding on a name for its new mobile app.

The app is designed to help people access services and information, like community events, programs and notifications for wildlife sightings and emergencies.

Staff have narrowed the list down to three finalists — Coquitlam Connect, Coquitlam Go and CliQ — and residents can vote online. The poll is available at coquitlam.ca/app or on Coquitlam's Facebook Page and will be open until 5 p.m. on April 30.

Coquitlam already has two apps: Recollect, which provides garbage collection schedules, and Whoosh, which is a parking app. Both of those apps will be available through the new city app when it comes online.
