Coquitlam RCMP and members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) were at a home in the 1500-block of Grant Street in Port Coquitlam Thursday morning for a high-risk arrest.
Residents in the area just south of Prairie Avenue were told to stay in their homes while officers took the front door off the hinges and entered the home.
ERT members arrested a person without incident but no information was available about the person's identity or what charges he or she would be facing.
Coquitlam RCMP officers remained on scene conducting a search of the home.
