New chair, vice-chair for school board

Barb Hobson and Christine Pollock take the helm of the Coquitlam district board for the coming year

The School District 43 board of education acclaimed veteran trustee Barb Hobson as chair and elected newcomer and retired education assistant Christine Pollock to the position of vice-chair during an inaugural meeting Tuesday night.

The first board meeting of the newly-elected board of education will be Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m.
