Darlene and Ron McAuley, Hope residents, recently made a public appeal for information about their missing son, Ryan, who was last seen in Maple Ridge Feb. 15, 2019. Ryan was living at Cypress Lodge in Coquitlam when he went missing.

A public appeal for information about a missing Coquitlam man has generated more than a dozen tips and a number of angles on the investigation.

Coquitlam RCMP's spokesperson, Cpl. Michael McLaughlin, didn't confirm the nature of the tips but said investigators are following up on each one.

“We’re still asking people to come forward if they have any information. The case has’t been solved,” McLaughlin said, adding: “We’re very appreciated of everyone who has been trying to help.

At a press conference at Coquitlam RCMP’s detachment June 5, Ron and Darlene McAuley pleaded for information about Ryan McAuley, 34, who was last seen at 10 a.m. Feb. 15 when his image was captured on a video camera at a store on the 11000-block of 200 Street in Maple Ridge.

Ryan McAuley, who had late onset schizophrenia at the age of 29, was living at Cypress Lodge on the Riverview Hospital grounds when he went missing.
