The Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) help a graduation ceremony at Michael J. Fox Theatre on Sunday to celebrate those dedicated canines who have completed its training in order to become assistance dogs in a variety of capacities - including support for people with physical disabilities other than blindness, first responders with post-traumatic stress disorder, and victims of crime. Burnaby NOW photographer Jennifer Gauthier was on hand to capture some of the canines and their humans.
