The Editor,
Re. “Somewhere in southern coastal BC” (Ingrid Rice cartoon, Opinions, The Tri-City News, Nov. 24).
I found this cartoon offensive and insulting to all the seniors who worked hard all their lives and paid — and still are paying — taxes to support all the social services that this cartoon implies are being bled dry.
They earned these services, which, by the way, they are not getting for free.
They deserve an apology for that cartoon.
