Re. "Council, leave the professional work to city hall’s professionals" (editorial, Opinion, The Tri-City News, July 25).
Just wanted to drop a line regarding this most recent editorial to thank The Tri-City News. It is time to bring some sanity to city hall in Port Moody and I think commentary such as this is a start.
We need to stop the “egregious use of an exclamation mark” that smacks of activism and not good governance.
You know, I used to proudly say I’m from Port Moody. Since last summer, even before the election results, I started to say I live five minutes from the ocean — a sad state of affairs, indeed.
