Re. “PoMo cops CAN learn about autism” (The Tri-City News, April 11).

I just wanted to say thank you for this article because, being 17 and on the autistic spectrum, it is awesome to hear that emergency personnel are on board and that special needs people are finally not being mistaken for being badly behaved.

It feels great knowing that police recognize autism spectrum disorder and won’t attack people for being different or acting different.

It is so cool that a cop has made a whole website to have ASD recognized.

This is the best article I have ever read. It’s about time.
