The Editor,
I just want to thank the city of Port Coquitlam staff for the amazing work they are doing, particularly those from the engineering and parks and recreation departments.
Over the last several years, I have been contacting them regarding issues related to the bike lanes, items/garbage being illegally dumped, littering, potential pollution in the creeks, construction sites, fallen trees on trails or streets, bins not being emptied, etc.
They have been responding in a timely fashion and often someone will contact me by phone or email to inform me of the action(s) they have been taking.
This shows their professionalism, how seriously they consider the citizens’ concerns and their desire to make our community a better place to live.
