I am yearly Christmas visitor from the United States and I am hoping those responsible for the wonderful LaFarge Lake Lights will see this.
It has become a tradition now for our family to visit the lights for the past few years. What a joy it is to see the magic and wonder expressed on the faces of young and old alike.
The thought and care that has gone into this display is awesome.
I love the lights that represent real flowers: ferns, sunflowers, snowdrops, lupine — wow, just stunning! Looking for animals hiding in the brush or trees is fun and truly pure magic.
The swans and herons are my favourites.
The fact that this is free is equally amazing. What a gift this is to the city of Coquitlam and us all.
Thank you for this wonderful display.
We look forward to it every year. It is a highlight of our Christmas.
