The Coquitlam Adanacs finished their Western Lacrosse Association season without a win on the road. Their travelling futility was assured last Friday in Victoria, where they lost to the Shamrocks 15-4.

The Coquitlam Adanacs finished their Western Lacrosse Association season without a win on the road.

Their travelling futility was assured last Friday in Victoria, where they lost to the Shamrocks 15-4.

After trailing 3-2 at the end of the first period, the visiting Adanacs were outscored 12-2 in the final two frames.

Coquitlam won only twice this season — both at home — en route to last place in the WLA standings, nine points behind the sixth place Burnaby Lakers.

The New Westminster Salmonbellies finished at the top of the standings with 15 wins and three losses, six points better than the second-place Shamrocks.
