Port Moody's Ryan Tattle, who's looking to crack the Coquitlam Express lineup after playing Major Midget hockey with the Vancouver Northeast Chiefs, scored two goals and got into a fight in the team's 10-4 win over the Surrey Eagles, Tuesday at South Surrey Arena.

The Coquitlam Express got goals from eight different players as they won their second BC Hockey League exhibition game in a row Tuesday, 10-4 over the Surrey Eagles at the South Surrey Arena.

On Sunday, the Express opened their pre-season schedule with an 8-5 win over the Wenatchee Wild, at Delta’s Sungod Arena.

In Surrey, veteran Connor Gregga and rookie hopeful Ryan Tattle each scored twice in a rough and tumble game that featured several skirmishes resulting in fighting majors and game misconducts. One of those involved was Tattle, who got into a fracas with Surrey’s Jimmy Darby 12:23 into the third period. Both were ejected and additional misconducts were also assessed to Cooper Connell of the Express and the Eagles’ Christoph Tellier.

After a scoreless first period, Coquitlam scored four unanswered goals in the second before the Eagles got on the scoreboard 1:14 into the third period.

The Express responded with four more goals before the final frame was half done to put the game out of reach.

Greg Lapointe, Christian Lowe, Nick Carabin, Luke Burke, Joshua Wildauer and Adam Trotman all scored singles for the visitors, who outshot the home team 44-31. Clay Stevenson got the win in Coquitlam’s net.

Sunday, against the Wild, the Express got two goals from Lapointe, Trotman and Tyler Schleppe to lead them over the Wild.

The Express travel to Langley to play the Rivermen tonight, 7:15 p.m., at the George Preston Rec Centre.
