Coquitlam Adanacs goalie Thomas Ungaro stops a Ridge Meadows Burrards forward at close range in the gold medal game of the 2018 BC Lacrosse Association Midget A1 provincial championships, last Sunday at Copeland Arena in Burnaby. Coquitlam won the game, 10-5.
Ungaro was named the game's most valuable player. He was also named to the tournament's first all-star team and was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from BCLA.
En route to the final, the Adanacs finished the round robin portion of the tournament with four wins and a loss, that coming to the Burrards.
