There is still time to try out for the boys True North Basketball Club.
Grade 4, 5 and 6 students are invited to join the group this Friday (Sept. 16) between 6 and 7:30 p.m. at Pitt River middle, while Grade 7 and 8 students can join between 7:30 and 9 p.m.
A second tryout will be held on Saturday (Sept. 17) at Terry Fox secondary, with Grade 4, 5 and 6 students showing their skills between 10 and 11:30 a.m. followed by Grade 7 and 8 students between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
There is a non-refundable $10 registration fee and players do not need to attend both tryouts. For more information go to www.truenorthbasketball.ca.

The B.C. 55+ Games are looking for volunteers.
The event, which runs from Sept. 20 to 24, still needs hosts, medical personnel, security, drivers, fire wardens and banquet attendants.
