One thing the COVID-19 pandemic can’t change is the beauty of Christmas lights!

While it may feel like we’ve never left March, it’s already time for Candy Cane Lane to light up for the season and bring a little holiday cheer to us all.

Candy Cane Lane, the area near Upland Street between Wilson Crescent, McKenzie Avenue and Aitken Crescent, will transform into a Christmas wonderland on Dec. 1 at 6 p.m.

Costumes for a Cause will be out waving to kids with Olaf at 176 Aitken Cres.

Due to COVID-19, the light-up event will be drive-through only to see the lights as you’ll have to remain inside your vehicle at all times.

However, you’ll also be able to enjoy the lights each night throughout the holiday season at your own leisure.

The whimsical Christmas displays, lights hung from the trees, and that magical Christmas feeling makes visiting Candy Cane Lane each December one of the city's most beloved Christmas traditions.

On Our Radar is just a thing we do when we're looking forward to an event or think the public should be aware of it. Think you have something for it? Email us at news@princegeorgematters.com.
