Happy Saturday, Whistler! Here's how things are looking out there so far.

Today's forecast calls for periods of rain with a high of about 9 C in Whistler. A low of 3 C is expected overnight, with more rain. Looking to tomorrow, the forecast calls for yet more rain, with a high of about 8 C.

On the mountain, Whistler Blackcomb (WB) is forecasting a high of about -1 C and a low of about -5 C today, with light winds. The mountain operator is reporting no fresh snow in the past 24 hours, while the freezing level sits at 1,600 metres. Spring operations are in full swing.

"An unsettled pattern will continue to move a series of disturbances across the BC south coast through the weekend. Clouds and snowfall accumulations are expected with moderate ridge top winds. The pattern is expected to stabilize from Monday onward with sunny periods reappearing, ridge winds easing to light and temperatures becoming milder through next week," WB said on its website.

The avalanche danger rating in the Sea to Sky is currently low, according to Avalanche Canada.

"Continuously assess conditions as you gain elevation. Winter conditions persist at higher elevations. New wind slabs could form where precipitation falls as snow," the avalanche forecaster said on its website.
