Five students are putting together an online auction to raise funds as part of their community outreach during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We recognize that while we may be in our homes with our heating and unlimited Wifi, not everyone has had the luxury of comfort these past few months,” said Nicole Miller, one of the organizers. “Some families have really faced some unprecedented and harsh challenges this year with unexpected job layoffs, kids home from school, and mental health difficulties caused from the disconnect.”

Thanks to local sponsors, Tri-City residents can bid on a number of items, including coffee baskets, spa treatments and golfing packages among other things.

There’s also a link to donate directly to Share Family and Community Services.

All of these auction items will be available on the website,, from Nov. 17 to 7 p.m., Dec. 1, when the auction closes.

Successful bidders can arrange via email to pick up and pay for their items.
