The first Tri-Cities Newcomer Employment Week (NEW) next week will have more than 30 employment-related activities.
NEW aims to support newcomers in their job searches by creating network opportunities among immigrants, service providers and employers, and help new immigrants to learn more about the Canadian labour market and how to parlay their skills and experience into meaningful employment.
NEW is being put on by the Tri-Cities Local Immigration Partnership, led by SUCCESS in collaboration with local service providers and organizations. It will run in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody from Monday to Thursday. For more information or to register go to tricitieslip.ca.
