A restaurant chain with a franchise in Coquitlam is looking for nominations from its customers of their favourite charity to receive a $500 donation.
The Deeds Well Done campaign run by Mr. Mikes Steakhouse is collecting the nominations from now until Dec. 31 from its 44 locations, including 2991 Lougheed Hwy., and will hand out a total of $22,000.
“We have chosen to take this approach to charitable involvement as opposed to picking one main cause because it gives us an opportunity to recognize unsung heroes and more deeply connect with the communities that we have restaurants in,” said Robin Chakarbarti, the restaurant chain’s president.
All nominators get a $25 gift card while the winner gets a group dinner at their local location to go along with the $500 to support their cause.
