Kimberly Blackstock’s I Love You To Pieces II — a 30-inch round poured acrylic on cradled wood pane — is one of eight pieces the Port Coquitlam artist has on show and for sale at the Silk Art Gallery in Port Moody.
Her paintings are part of the Precious group exhibit that launched last Wednesday and evolved from the Floribunda! show to include original works from Marney-Rose Edge, Marjorie Turnbull and Jane Appleby. Gerry Thompson also has included some new original paintings.
A Capilano University graduate and visual arts instructor at the Port Moody Arts Centre, Blackstock recently wrapped up another group show at the CityScape Community ArtSpace in North Vancouver.
She is represented by Art Works Vancouver.
