A Port Coquitlam author released a memoir last month titled Remember the Good Times.

The book tells stories from Jim Peacock’s career as a journalist and in public relations as well as his time in the Tri-Cities, especially in Port Moody, where he lived for more than 50 years.

Earlier this year, Peacock was bestowed with an Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation doctor of philanthropy award for launching the Jean Peacock Memorial Fund following the death of his wife last September; proceeds support the foundation’s capital campaign.

Remember the Good Times is available at Western Sky Books (2132-2850 Shaughnessy St., PoCo) and through its online shop.

As well, five copies of the book have each been donated to the Eagle Ridge Hospital Auxiliary (to sell in its hospital gift shop) and the PoCo retirement home where he now lives (to support a local charity).
