A folk-rock singer on VIA Rail’s Artists on Board program will make a stop in Port Moody next Thursday.
Gillian Nicola of Hamilton, Ont., will play at the Gallery Bistro (2411 Clarke St., Port Moody) at noon on Aug. 31 to promote her sophomore EP, No Place to Call, which came out last year and was recorded at Catherine North Studios with producer Dan Hosh.
The show is part of the eatery’s Thursday lunchtime music series, of which Nicola is its first out-of-town guest.
