Police are asking for help to find a suspect who tried to pull a woman off her mobility scooter in Coquitlam last month.
RCMP say the unprovoked attack happened on Feb. 23 at 7:50 p.m. near Glen Park (1149 Westwood St., Coquitlam).
The woman was eastbound on Lincoln Avenue when a man came out from the woods, said "come here," grabbed her around the waist and tried to pull her off her scooter.
When he couldn't, he ran back into the forested area, police say.
The woman was not hurt in the attack.
"These types of assaults are very concerning to the police and the public," said Coquitlam RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Alexa Hodgins, in a news release.
