No place contains more stories than a library.
And a Port Coquitlam author will be sharing her latest one next week at her local library.
On Tuesday, Terry Fox Library will host Janet Love Morrison for an intimate reading of her new book Friends: Six Women, Six Cultures, One Humanity, which follows the lives of six women who are all facing difficult life challenges. They meet in a salon once a week to share their stories of success, failure and much more. Their story celebrates the beauty of multicultural friendships.
Love Morrison will also discuss her writing process and how she got published, and take questions from the audience.
The reading is set for 7 to 8 p.m. on May 7 and registration is appreciated.
