Identifying Addiction: This seminar, to be held Tuesday, March 18 at 10 a.m., will look at the three major addictions that older adults may need to deal with: alcohol abuse, gambling and medication abuse. Presented by the Council of Senior Citizens' Organization of BC, the session will be run by a volunteer facilitator, who will examine the risk factors and make suggestions on how to approach a friend or family member if you suspect addiction. The presentation will include practical and usable information, free of technical jargon.

Learn about fraud, protection

Senior Fraud: Learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from fraud at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26.
