Advocating for children with learning differences

Cathie Camley, advocate for children with learning differences, will present on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Stepping 4words Learning Center, 2227 St. Johns Street, Port Moody.

Camley, formerly chair of the Tri-Cities branch of the Learning Disabilities Association, is the parent of three adult children, two who have learning disabilities, and has authored several Know Your Rights booklets for the BC Law Foundation.

She was also awarded the Queens' Jubilee medal for her contributions to the cause of learning disabilities in Canada.
