City of the Arts Toastmasters Club, a public speaking club serving Port Moody and the rest of the Tri-Cities, celebrates its fifth anniversary on April 19.
If you have been thinking of going to a Toastmasters meeting, this is an excellent opportunity. The club meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Thursday at the Port Moody city hall and its mission is to provide a positive and friendly learning environment for members, so they can develop communication and leadership skills. The club focuses on teamwork, mutual respect and education programs.
