Melanie Stokes, a visual arts teacher at Coquitlam's Gleneagle secondary school, and three of her top students will be guest speakers during next week's general meeting of the Canadian Federation of University Women-Coquitlam.

Melanie Stokes, a visual arts teacher at Coquitlam's Gleneagle secondary school, and three of her top students will be guest speakers during next week's general meeting of the Canadian Federation of University Women-Coquitlam.

The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. at Gleneagle and Stokes will address the importance of developing the creative skills of children and youth in a global economy where the ability to innovate is essential for job creation in Canada. Her students will be sharing their work and providing a hands-on learning opportunity for the audience. Guests are welcome.
