As dusk falls in the rainforest, a whole new set of characters take the stage from owls to bats, salamanders to flying squirrels.
In the Rainforest by Night program on Friday at Minnekhada Regional Park, you can join a Metro Vancouver park interpreter from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and listen for a barred owl, look under leaf litter for salamanders stalking insects and experience the magic of a rainforest by night.
This program is for people six years of age and older; cost is $8 per person for adults, $4.25 for children, youths and seniors, or $21.50 per family.
