Registration opens today (June 5) for free tours of the Coquitlam watershed that will run from July through September.
Every summer, Metro Vancouver opens up its protected watersheds to let Lower Mainland residents discover these pristine valleys first hand.
Adult tours are offered Thursdays through Sundays in the Coquitlam and Capilano watersheds while family-focused tours are offered on select weekends at the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve on the North Shore. Each tour is three to four hours long.
To register, visit www.metrovancouver.org and search "Watershed Tours." You may book online or by calling 604-432-6430.
