A charity car wash and barbecue will take place in Coquitlam this weekend, with proceeds going to an organization looking to build homes in an impoverished village in Ecuador.
Help, Learn and Discover is raising money for its Ecuaexperience initiative, which has set the goal of constructing 20 homes.
The car wash will take place between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, with a barbecue between noon and 2 p.m. at Coquitlam's Regency Volkswagen (2555 Barnet Highway).
