United Way of the Lower Mainland is encouraging the public to submit videos for the 2011 Care to Change Video Competition.

United Way of the Lower Mainland is encouraging the public to submit videos for the 2011 Care to Change Video Competition.

BC youth (19 years and younger) and adults (20 and older) are invited to create and enter short films (maximum five minutes) that will educate viewers on topics such as bullying, poverty, vulnerability and isolation, and then inspire them to care for others. The film must answer the question: "What does this issue mean to me and how do I care to change it?"

Winners of the video competition will get prizes, gain experience and receive exposure for their work.

Videos must be burned to a disc and mailed to the United Way by June 15, 2011.
