Port Coquitlam is once again hosting the Rivers and Trails festival this Sunday, Sept. 29 with fun events at two locations.
At Lions Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be children's passport stations and prizes, salmon smolt releases, Culture Days activities, a concession, environmental displays and music by the Working Stiffs.
And at Peace Park from noon to 4 p.m., families can enjoy paddlewheel river tours, a boat-building workshop and crafts area, Culture Days actives, a concession and music by Coldwater Road.
To get to both venues, a free shuttle bus will be provided as well as a bike valet to store bikes. Visitors are also encouraged to cycle between the two sites.
