The College Park Community Association lit up the neighborhood with music and song Dec. 21 to collect food and cash for the food bank run by Share Family and Community Services.
Several decorated wagons and trucks, as well as the Port Moody fire department, drove through the neighborhood and carolers went house to house singing songs. Julia Montgomery and Elaine Lindbjerg were also on hand with their guitars and Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up to help out the good cause.
The event was so successful, the association was able to drop off a few carloads of food plus cash.
Share still needs help to get donations through to spring. More information is available at www.sharesociety.ca.
