Tickets are now on sale for the Coquitlam Foundation's country-and-western-themed Kickin' It Country fundraiser, set for Friday, Nov. 7 at Centennial Pavilion, 620 Poirier St., Coquitlam.
The evening will feature live-music - fiddler Jesse Kazemir and well-known local troubadour Tony Prophet - as well as line dancing and modern group dance led by Candace Zanini from Caydance Studios and DJ Alex Willey, who will be playing some toe-tapping and knee-slapping music.
There will also be a silent auction with a barn-full of affordable goodies, plus a live auction featuring such choice items as a Whistler dream weekend, a Victoria getaway and a $1,000 Coquitlam Centre gift card.
Besides entertainment, the $50 ticket buys a chicken-and-ribs dinner and one beverage.
To reserve a ticket, call 604-468-9598 or email [email protected].
All proceeds from the hoedown will support the foundation's operations and charitable endeavours. For more information on the Coquitlam Foundation, which is a registered charity, visit www.coquitlamfoundation.com.
