A look back at the past year and ahead to the next will be part of the Coquitlam Foundation's annual general meeting tomorrow (Thursday).
At the AGM, to be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Coquitlam Foundation Room of Coquitlam Public Library's City Centre branch (1169 Pinetree Way), foundation members will also be discussing ways in which it can continue to advance its charitable work in the community. In addition to managing its own foundation-directed funds, the organization manages 21 donor-advised funds on behalf of various groups, families and individuals.
The five new donor-advised funds created over the past year include the Michael Coss Brain Injury Fund, the Steps Together Fund, the Trevor Wingrove Bursary Fund, the Wesbild LIFT Fund and, most recently, the Danielle and Gary Couling Education Fund.
