The deadline for applications for Coquitlam Foundation for grants, bursaries and scholarships is quickly approaching.
The foundation, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2012, distributed more than $55,000 in the community last year.
Detailed information and application forms are available on online at www.coquitlamfoundation.com. Deadline for applications is 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23.
In addition to numerous bursaries and scholarships being made available to individuals, the Coquitlam Foundation has also announced that eligible community groups can apply for project grants totalling up to $3,500 for initiatives involving the arts, up to $1,000 for education, up to $2,000 for health and wellness, and up to $2,000 for heritage and conservation.
The awards will be distributed at the Coquitlam Foundation's Awards Night, to be held May 29 at the Evergreen Cultural Centre.
