Myra Antaya, Margaret Manery and Margaret Reilly of Coquitlam's Dogwood Garden Club are ready for this Saturday's spring plant sale, the group's largest fundraiser of the year.
More than 1,000 perennials, annuals, tomatoes, herbs and hanging baskets - grown in club members' gardens and at nurseries - will be available for purchase on May 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Centennial Room at Dogwood Pavilion (624 Poirier St.).
Last year's event brought in $5,000 for scholarships for horticultural students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
