One of the biggest nights of shopping and charitable fundraising is taking place this Tuesday, Nov. 20.

That's when Coquitlam Centre's 4th annual Unwrapped - A Charity Night of Shopping takes place, providing an evening of fun, and good works, benefitting local charities, including Share Family and Community Services.

Guests who purchase tickets to this exclusive event will be treated to one-night-only special discounts and offers from participating retailers in Coquitlam Centre. Guests will also get a sneak peek at hot fashion trends for winter, indulge in delicious food, wine, craft beer and cooler tastings from local restaurants and businesses, have their photos taken with Santa Claus, and be delighted by festive music and entertainment. Amazing grand prizes worth thousands of dollars, gift baskets, door prizes, and gift cards will also be up for grabs throughout the evening.

Since 2009, this event has raised over $205,000 for local charities and won the prestigious International Council of Shopping Centres Foundation's 2010 Canadian Community Support Award.

Guests are also invited to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the local food bank. Collection stations will be located at event entrances at The Bay, Sears, Future Shop, T&T Supermarket and H&M.

Tickets are $10 each, and available through participating charities, at Coquitlam Centre Guest Services (with profits going to support SHARE Family & Community Services' Christmas Hamper and Toy Programs) and online.A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
