Coquitlam's Eagle Ridge Pool was recently transformed into a country club pool for scenes being filmed for the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days.
It's the third flick in a series based on the popular kids' books by Jeff Kinney and stars Zachary Gordon. In addition to a film permit fee for use of the pool, the city received compensation for lost revenue when the pool was closed for the last week of summer vacation plus $15,000 for pool equipment.
