Coquitlam photographer Robert McDonald snapped a few images of Easter egg hunts in the Tri-Cities last weekend, at the Coquitlam Alliance Church and at the Port Moody Station Museum.
The church volunteers hid their eggs in balloons and gave the young participants a flashlight to find as many treats as they could in a dark room in the basement — in one minute, McDonald reported.
"After collecting their eggs, the kids could participate in craft building or visit the balloon animal station."
