Baby's First Two Years is a free drop-in program for expectant parents as well as parents, grandparents and/or guardians and their babies newborn to 24 months.

The educational program is an opportunity to learn from guest speakers and to enjoy support, conversation and validation in a comfortable and relaxed environment. The group meets on Fridays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Heritage Room at Coquitlam's Place Maillardville community centre.

The roster of guest speakers for June, including:

June 7: Mardi Hassell, mortgage specialist, on the ABCs of mortgages.

June 14: Erin Parr, Mewsic Moves, on musical therapy.

June 21: Ashley and Deborah, children's programmers at Coquitlam Public Library's Poirier branch, on books and babies.

Coming up this month is:

May 31: Paul Hendriks, Knowledge First Financial, on Registered Education Savings Plans.
