Coquitlam's Glen Pine Pavilion is hosting a seminar on fire safety next Wednesday.
Paula Faedo, a fire inspector with Coquitlam Fire and Rescue, will talk about fire and fall prevention and safety, focusing mainly on the home but also discussing some fire safety issues relating to public buildings. She will have a video presentation and some handouts. Participants will find out about smoke alarms, kitchen fire safety and smoking, and , what to do in the event of an emergency.
The session is free and runs from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Feb. 23 at Glen Pine, located at 1200 Glen Pine Crt., Coquitlam. To register, call 604-927-6940.
