Tri-Cities LeadNow group is hosting a talk next week in Coquitlam focused on fossil fuels.
Life Beyond Fossil Fuels: An Evening with the Father of the Carbon Footprint starts at 7 p.m. at the Evergreen Cultural Centre.
"The Ecological Economy and De-growth" is the title of the talk by Bill Rees, a UBC professor of population economics and a social justice advocate who is the father of the carbon footprint.
There will also be a conversation with Ben West of Forest Ethic Advocacy to talk about "Moving Away from Fossil Fuels."
