Coquitlam grandfather Alexander "Sandy" Olynyk is up to his old tricks again.
He has decorated his home at 2980 Cape Crt., across from Ranch Park elementary school, with scary monsters, including a 12-foot-tall Frankenstein, pop-up spiders and tombstones for Halloween tonight (Friday).
Olynyk regularly sees creeped-out kids not wanting to climb his driveway to get treats but the "Sandyland" haunted house display is all for a good cause: Olynyk is also raising money for the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation.
