But finding the best solutions to fitness and health can be a challenge.

The city of Port Moody is hosting a free event with some answers, its first annual Community Wellness Fair next Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the PoMo rec complex.

The fair features more than 40 vendors and exhibitors and brings together active living and lifestyle options for all ages with a day of demonstrations, hands-on workshops and free consultations. Participants may watch demonstrations of the latest fitness trends, from Zumba to Capoeira, or update their routine with a personal trainer. Visitors will also learn about quick and easy meal plans, nutrition goals, all-natural beauty products, chemical-free household options and even pet health ideas.

A trade show will feature professionals who offer a range of traditional and alternative health services.

Runners can examine their style at the gait analysis lab or discuss injury prevention with rehabilitation specialists.
