Gleneagle secondary school students are looking to do a world of good for the needy while supporting the spirit of recycling during Earth week.

The students are collecting clothing, sports equipment, electronics and toys with their goal being to provide local charities with the much needed resources through their TALONS program, which has hosted several fundraisers over the years ranging in scope and size.

This time, donations are geared to go to foundations such as the Canadian Diabetes Association, KidSport and shelters within the Tri-Cities.

Funcational donations of all sizes that adhere to the aforementioned categories - preferably in packaged boxes - can be dropped off in the Coquitlam school's main foyer located at 1195 Lansdowne Dr. Monday through Friday.
