On July 12, Port Moody Public Library's summer reading club kids are invited to visit with the Cinemazoo Animal Agency.
From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. next Thursday, kids ages five and older can join librarians in the Inlet Theatre to see rare reptiles, bugs and other amazing creatures up close.
Cinemazoo is dedicated to conservation of animals and their natural habitats. During the show, kids will be amazed at the incredible variety of animals in the program and fascinated to learn what it takes to care for more than 300 exotic creatures every day.
After the show, kids should leave time to choose books about rare animals from the library - there are hundreds of them.
This event is general seating on a first-come basis. For more information or to register for the PMPL summer reading club, call the library at 604-469-4577.
Port Moody Public Library is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
